Rocketbird Goes VIP at Outside Lands
We were thrilled to partner up with Global Gourmet Catering and be a part of the VIP Concessions experience at this year’s Outside Lands music festival at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. After taking a year off in 2020 due to the pandemic, Outside Lands came back strong with this year’s sold-out three-day event, with over 200,000 attendees over the Halloween weekend.
Festival-goers were treated to stellar performances from The Strokes, Tyler, the Creator, Lizzo, Vampire Weekend, Brittany Howard, Kehlani, and Tame Impala, along with, of course, lots and lots of amazing food.
Each day we featured a different chicken sandwich as part of Global Gourmet’s VIP Menu – Rocket Reaper on Friday, Island Bird on Saturday, and Cali Bird on Sunday – selling out each day. Our tasty Rocketbird Salad was also available all three days, and was also very popular among those looking for something on the lighter side.
We are extremely grateful to Global Gourmet for letting us be a part of it all, and for those kind fried chicken lovin’ souls in VIP for buying our chicken sandwiches and supporting our business. We hope to see you again next year!
